This poster was designed for the NYU Abu Dhabi Theater Program's fall production, "Ikwe Na Odu," which explores the provocative theme of using food as a weapon of warfare. The event featured a six-hour performance installation and a symposium titled "Art, Activism, and Food; Performance Practice and Food Politics," engaging artists and the community in discussions around food politics and activism.

Inspired by visuals developed in a student workshop in the Fall 2023 Foundations of Graphic Design course , the poster visually captures the complex interplay of food, politics, and warfare. The striking imagery of a mortar and pestle—a traditional tool symbolizing food production labor—serves as a metaphor for the show's focus on how food can be weaponized and politicized.

The poster not only advertised the performance installation but also promoted the associated symposium, drawing attention to the broader conversation about the intersections of art, activism, and food politics.
