Noh Drama Event Poster

Student Marta Pienkosz designed this vibrant event poster for a lecture and demonstration by Noh Drama Master Naohiko Umewaka, organized by the NYUAD Theater Program. Drawing inspiration from the traditional masks of Noh drama and the bold, colorful aesthetics of Andy Warhol's pop art, the poster captures the intersection of classical Japanese theater and modern artistic sensibilities. The event, held at the NYUAD Arts Center, invited both theater students and the broader university community to experience the intricacies of Noh, a form of classical Japanese musical drama. It was one of the highest attended program events of the academic year.
